One-on-One Peer Support Program
Back to Members Portal

Our One-on-One Peer Support Program connects individuals affected by acoustic neuroma with volunteers who have lived through similar experiences. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, recovering from treatment, or managing long-term symptoms, we’ll match you with someone who understands the unique challenges you’re facing.

Your peer mentor will provide:

  • A listening ear and compassionate support
  • Practical insights from their personal journey
  • Encouragement and understanding

This program is designed to foster meaningful connections and help you navigate your journey with confidence and hope.

Please tell us a little about yourself so we can find the most suitable peer match for you. Include the following details in your response:

  • Your age or general age group (e.g., 20s, 30s, 40s, etc.)
  • Your location
  • The stage of your acoustic neuroma journey (e.g., newly diagnosed, post-treatment, living with long-term symptoms)
  • The symptoms you're currently experiencing (e.g., balance issues, hearing loss, facial weakness, tinnitus, brain fog, etc.)

This information will help us connect you with someone who has had similar experiences and can provide meaningful support.
