For more than 40 years, the Acoustic Neuroma Association of Canada (ANAC) has been the only national organization dedicated to supporting Canadians facing an acoustic neuroma diagnosis.
ANAC began in 1983, when three women in Edmonton—Virginia Garossino, Velma Campbell, and Linda Gray—faced the uncertainty of surgery and discovered how little information and support was available. Together, they built ANAC to meet the complex needs of patients and families across Canada.
Today, ANAC continues their vision—providing trusted information, compassionate support, and a strong community for those affected by this rare, benign brain tumour.
But to keep moving forward, we rely on the generosity of our members, donors, and friends. One of the most meaningful ways you can ensure ANAC’s future is through a legacy gift.
A gift in your Will is more than a donation—it’s a statement of your values. It ensures that:
A legacy gift may also provide tax benefits for your estate, and because it doesn’t affect your finances during your lifetime, you can update or change it at any time.
There are several ways to include ANAC in your estate plans. Every gift, large or small, makes a difference.
You can designate a percentage of what remains of your estate after other gifts and debts are settled. This type of gift grows with your estate and helps ANAC plan confidently for the future.
You may choose to leave a set amount to support ANAC’s programs or initiatives most meaningful to you.
You can donate property, securities, or another valuable asset that ANAC can use or sell to support our work.
We’d love to talk with you about how your legacy can support Canadians living with acoustic neuroma.
Your support will make a lasting impact for generations of patients and their families.
