I became aware of, and involved in, this small charity shortly after I was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma in 2019. In 2020 I joined ANACs board of directors. This group has been my main source of information, research, medical contacts and most importantly support before, during and after my gamma knife radiation procedure in late 2021.
This virtual walk is our main fundraiser for the year and I ask that you please join me in donating to this important cause. I will be hiking/walking trails on the Bonavista peninsula and in Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland.
Our fundraising ensures that those diagnosed with acoustic neuromas have access to research, support and medical contacts necessary to make the best decisions possible about their treatments. Thanks again for considering a donation!
